JOB DESCRIPTION

CANAMMEATS is a growing Canadian meat trading house selling meat proteins domestically and internationally. Established in 1991 the company has grown and is now doing business in almost all the markets in the world.

CANAMMEATS is presently recruiting for a Meat Trader with experience in the International markets. The position is part of our International Trading strategy and it comes with a rewarding compensation structure and full benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Source, buy and sell Meat in the various markets
• Monitoring the P&L and receivables for each account
• Reporting to Director of International Sales
• Required to work outside normal office hours
• Some travel required

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• More than 5 years of meat sales experience with solid track record
• An understanding of risk trading
• Bilingual in English and other languages
• Strong negotiation skills
• In depth knowledge of the Meat industry 
• A proven Self-starter
• Superb customer care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in logistics would be an asset
